We are pleased to announce that Georgie Betterman will step up to the role of General Manager of National Crime Check (NCC) from 1 March 2022.

Georgie joined NCC in September 2012 as a Verifications Officer and worked her way up to become our Operations Manager, a role she has held for the past four years. Georgie has been an invaluable member of the team since joining the company. She has provided us with excellent operational support and advice on all topics big and small - for as anyone in operations knows, there’s not much outside the scope!

Georgie has also been the driving force behind important client initiatives such as improving our client retention by ensuring strong client relationships are a primary focus for all of us at NCC. She’s truly the backbone of this company and we’re excited to see what she accomplishes in her new role.

Georgie has also been part of the Sterling RISQ APAC leadership team for the past three years, providing her sage counsel and input to the decisions made by the broader leadership team.

In response to the announcement, Georgie said, “I’m genuinely excited and humbled by the opportunity to become General Manager at National Crime Check.

“I have worked here for close to ten years yet I’m continuously learning, facing new challenges, and having new experiences with this unique company.

“I am thrilled to be able to help lead NCC into the next phase of our business life cycle where we’ll get to work with excellent clients, further technological advancements, and an ever-evolving range of checks and screening.

“It’s an exciting time to be at NCC.”

Congratulations on your appointment Georgie!  We look forward to seeing what you achieve.
